Glamourie @ PSL

‘Glamourie’ introduces you to a group of little known contemporary British artists. Held at PSL [Project Space Leeds] ‘Glamourie’ is curated by artist David Steans and features the work of more than 20 new artists.

PSL is an independent, artist-led contemporary art space based on the River Aire 5 minutes away from the city centre. Project Space Leeds stages exhibitions of modern and contemporary art across all art forms, and shows work by artists from the UK and abroad.

R-L: The Law of Excluded Middle - Ant Macari, 2011; I am a real artist - Johannes Fa, 2012

L-R: Altar for the Worship of Capital - Pil & Galia Kollectiv, 2012; Nothing Here - Kitty Clark, 2009; Super Supra - Iona Smith, 2012; Miserable Lantern - Leon Sadler, 2011

Glamourie - Harry Meadley, 2012

I absolutely love this piece. Captured in 24 carat gold, ‘Glamourie’ is a representation of the volume of the artist in the most decadent material.

L-R: Marx & Bakunin Kissing - Sophie Carapetian, 2012; Blue Floramor - Paul Smith, 2012; Everyone has upped their game - Simeon Barclay, 2010

L-R: Kopal - Rhiannon Silver, 2012; Behind Us Lies the Splendor of a Lost Civilisation - Kitty Clark, 2011

The Law of Excluded Middle - Ant Macari, 2011

‘Glamourie’ runs 14 January – 31 March 2012. The exhibition space is open Weds – Sat, 12 – 5pm and entry is free.
